So fucking sue me.
I have a life and at times that gets in the way of sitting down and
typing up a blog entry for those who even bother to peruse the damn thing.
Well, as per the previous post..The Seahawks lost, not without the
"help" of the referee staff, however. I'm burnt out on NFL crap from all
the pre-game and post-game hype though. I don't plan on watching it this
coming Fall.
As for other events that have transpired since my last post...
Let's see...Gas prices are Way to Fucking high, the "powers that be',
need to get on the damn stick and the automakers need to move to FLEX
and hybrids as the standard and not the Arab-Oil-Dependent gas guzzling
cars we have now. Of course they need to be affordable as well.
So get on it Automakers. The Oil companies also need to follow through
on their 'smoke-blowin' and DO for the environment by adding Ethanol
pumps to their stations nationwide. Talk is just talk, Ad campaigns are
a waste of the profits us consumers are making you. So let's see some
action and knock it off already with blowing smoke up out asses.
Another hot topic is Immigration. I'm not gonna be PC and I'm probably
not going to endear some folks with my opinions, but if you don't like
it, frankly I don't care.
Those individuals who come into this country Illegally and those who
stay past their visa's etc., are ILLEGAL.
You have NO Citizenship Rights, because you ARE ILLEGAL. Thousands of
people wishing to immigrate and become Naturalized do so every year.
They do so LEGALLY. Those who are found here illegally need to be sent
back ASAP to where they came from until they go through the full legal
process. If you want the full benefits of being a U.S. Citizen, you
have to go through the Legal steps to become one. Illegal Aliens only
have legal rights as far as being a human= Human Rights. You have no
legal say in this country no matter how many roads you block with
parades and protests , which, btw are rights granted to and for LEGAL
Citizens of this country.
And before you get on your high horse about doing jobs no one else wants
to do, shut the fuck up. You were hired ILLEGALLY and have NO right to
the job you're working, and there are lots of other LEGAL American
Citizens that would love that job if your illegal ass was not taking it
for less than or just at minimum wage enabling those employers to skirt
the law and not have to pay a just wage to the Legal citizens that need
to feed their families. Those employers should be fined heavily (as well as losing Federal tax breaks and other benefits) for hiring with no proof of citizenship , ( just to benefit their greed and to encourage the illegal entry into the United States ), no matter if it raises the cost of their product or not.
Why should companies hiring Legal Immigrants and other legal citizens be penalized with a bigger tax burden for following the law, by paying a fair wage and taxes ?
Taxes that provide benefits , such as Welfare, Social Security, etc. , when those who are not obeying the law get a big profit from hiring Illegals? Those who hire Illegals, should not only have to pay fines and lose benefits in regards to their business, but should have to foot the bill for deportation of those hired illegals.
Those States/Cities/Counties and individuals who offer "Safe Havens'
(read: those breaking the law to appear as saints or goody-goodies or to
make a profit.) should be fined and or jailed for doing so. Cut the
Federal Tax dollars to pennies for their programs and see how many they
keep harboring.
Spare me the old tired spiel about providing Health Care, Education and
such to those "poor people". They're not entitled to them. They ARE NOT
Legal Citizens, they do not pay taxes into the systems that pay for
those programs. Those programs are for U.S. Citizens. Not illegals and
their 29 children, cousins and friends of the family who snuck into this
country by way or swimming, tractor trailer smuggling or other illegal
means.
So if you want to count in this country go through the tried and true
process and do it legally. For many generations, immigrant individuals
have done so and become naturalized. Thinking you're better than that,
and above the law, just makes those of us who are citizens think you're
not the kind of individual we want as a citizen, so go the fuck back to
where you came from.
